Yellowstone Valley Farmers Market was founded in 1985 by a group of Montanans who wanted a place for Yellowstone County farmers and growers to display and sell their products.

They take pride in keeping a 50/50 ratio of growers to food vendors, and nearly all food was grown within a 120 mile radius.
